Bull dog reef

16/03/2013 - This is one of the best reefs in Kalpitiya we have dived so far! A great place for the Macro enthusiast! In this shallow and well lit reef we found many interesting species!

At the begriming of the dive a medium sized Napoleon Wrasse hovered at the edge of the reef and gradually disappeared. As we swam along the rubble exploring nooks and crannies we en counted Giant Morays, the rare White Eyed Morays (more than 5 of them under one single rock!),

On the sand we find a Panther Flounder quite convincingly disguised as sand and also have a rare encounter with a Flat Head, a fish hardly seen in Sri Lankan waters.

This is a really fun place to be and one awesome dive!

A profusion of white eyed Morays in this reef!

The charismatic Lion Fish were plenty
